CAN CHARLIE KIRK BE SAVED? YES!
Some rigorist Catholics will say 'Charlie Kirk' was a protestant, therefore he was a schismatic and heretic, he cannot be saved based on prior Papal statements (by Pope Eugene IV & Pope St Gregory II). Some rigorist Catholics have said that you can't pray for his soul because apparently, protestant are schismatics and heretics and thus our enemies. Well, Our Lord has clarified whether you should pray for your enemies, in Luke 6:27-28 & Matt 5:44 our Lord said that we should love and pray for your enemies. The definition of 'love' is "to will the good of another" (CCC 1766). The greatest way to express this is to pray for "the salvation of someone's soul" which is the Church's preeminent law (Code of Canon Law 1752).
In the Greek New Testament, the concept of "ignorance" is primarily expressed through the Greek word ἄγνοια (agnoia), which means a lack of knowledge, understanding, or awareness, often with a moral or spiritual connotation. This term appears in contexts where ignorance leads to sin or error, but it can also imply a state of being unaware without deliberate intent.
Vincible and invincible ignorance is explained in is explained in the Holy Bible:
*John 9:41 'Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you are saying, ‘We see,’ so your sin remains.'"
*John 15:22 "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin; but as it is they have no excuse for their sin."
*Luke 12:48 "and the servant who was ignorant of his master’s will but acted in a way deserving of a severe beating shall be beaten only lightly. Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more."
St Thomas Aquinas also defined ‘vincible’ & ‘invincible’ ignorance: “Consequently ignorance of certain things is called ‘invincible,’ because it cannot be overcome by study…since it is not in our power to be rid of it, is not a sin. On the other hand, ‘vincible ignorance’ is a sin, if it be about matters one is bound to know” https://www.newadvent.org/summa/2076.htm We will be judged in proportion to the truth that we have received in our lifetime - and the fullness of TRUTH IS CHRIST & His bride the Catholic Church. We Catholics have an advantage because we have been given the fullness of truth in doctrine and the fullness of faith in the sacraments.
