We draw strength from our suffering brothers

Our church today is a tested church, in which we have to be better than we ever were before. We need to recognize that we are part of a very large mystical body that is all over the world, and that we who are weak, in this Western civilization, are drawing strength from great spiritual heroes in other parts of the world, particularly in Russia. What a great heart for Christ there is in that land, where one out of six has at least an indirect contact with Christianity! The bravery of their affirming the faith, the readiness to suffer for it.
