The True presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist
QUESTION? / COMMENT!
I found a bold shepherd in a different diocese that brings communion to my 94 year old dad. He agreed to also give us Holy Communion. Some theologians I have asked feel this is selfish on my part to take communion during the pandemic. Your thoughts?
ANSWER! / COMMENT!
The gift of confirmation gives us the gift of fortitude (courage) and I commend any Priest who goes against this unconstitional lockdown and takes holy Communion to a Catholic who is sick and dying. Thats the difference between a 'company man' Catholic and one who is striving to be a saint. We have a history of Catholics who took company to lepers and others who are filled with plagues and diseases, Our Lord says that their is no greater love than this, that a man should lay down his life for another. The reason for the existence of the Catholic faith is for the salvation of souls. Unfortunately, many of our clergy have forgotten why they were ordained.

Same scenario as #1 but I found a different even bolder priest that will safely give outdoor mass to a small group of people more than 6 ft apart with Holy Communion and confession before mass. - Same question as #1. - is breaking the bishops order what Jesus Christ would tell his disciples to do?
ANSWER! / COMMENT!
This Priest knows why he was ordained, for the salvation of souls, and the sacraments are the normative means of salvation. The government has given an unlawful order, the Constitution gives us freedom to peacably assemble. When St Peter was given an unlawful order by the establishment he said, "I would rather obey God than men" (Acts 5:29).
QUESTION? / COMMENT!
(FYI - MY opinion is a resounding yes - Jesus Christ has ordained priests to go out to the people in need, even when there is sometimes risk involved - of course many saints have died for this cause)
ANSWER! / COMMENT!
Yes, I totally agree. Unfortunately, many of our Priest have been so poorly trained, their trained to be administrators instead of being trained as Pastors of souls.
QUESTION? / COMMENT!
From a theodicy perspective, do you believe this pandemic is a chastisement from God or the work of the evil one (prophecy of Pope Leo XIII)
ANSWER! / COMMENT!
Its a chastisement from God because of our lukewarmness as a Church, and our wickedness as a society. A punishment from God entails that he withdraws his blessings and protection over us, which leaves us subject to diabolical retaliation.

I appreciate your advice on these difficult questions during this pandemic. I beg you guys to keep up the great job of preaching bold, "HIGH - T" Catholicism. Its what the world and Holy Mother Church need right now desperately.
