Acceptance and Rebellion

When we bring the crosses, the handicaps, that we have in our life into the prayer of the holy hour, we will begin to see that God is talking to us. Not only does he talk to us in events, but here we have a beautiful opportunity to distinguish between acceptance and rebellion in the face of all of the trials of life. Acceptance: “Thy will be done.” Rebellion: “Why did this happen to me?” The two thieves on either side of our Blessed Lord are perfect examples of these two attitudes.
