Real power comes from Christ
We can be surrounded with instruments of power and still be ineffective, like Gehazi. When Elisha told Gehazi to go and raise to life the dead boy-which the prophet did later on--he gave him his wand or walking cane. Gehazi could do nothing with it, because he was unable to communicate power through it. So it is with radio; so it is with television; so it is with the pulpit; so it is with the press. Unless there is something in us, unless Christ is in us, and Christ comes out, we are just as ineffective as Gehazi. We are very much interested in using the media, and rightly so. But believe me, unless there is the spirit of Christ infusing the Gehazis, they will never get the boy off the bed.
