The older we get, the better we see ourselves
When we're young we think we're doing well. When we are older, we're sure we're not. The eldest: They began to leave, beginning with the eldest. As we grow older, we know that we have done little service. I’ve been a priest for fifty-five years, for which I thank God. I was doing much better thirty years ago in my own mind than I am now. Now I feel as if I have done so little.
