Question:

You should never use the word “ignorant” on Catholic radio.

Answer:

The word ignorant is appropriate, all it means (according to websters dictionary) is: "lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned, uninformed; unaware." For example, if someone started talking to me about engineering or quantum physics I would admit that I am ignorant in those things. The word "ignorant" is used many times in the Holy Bible for those who don't know the Gospel, for example in 2 Peter 3:16; Acts3:17 & Acts 17:30 and other places.

The Spiritual Works of Mercy also uses the word 'ignorant.'
