Kenneth Deel passed away in 2019, he called himself a Catholic 'demonologist', Ed & Lorraine Warren (both passed away) also called themselves Catholic demonologist. Both of their marriages and their families were a mess. Calling yourself a demonologist is not a good term to use to identify yourself as a Catholic, your NOT putting the emphasis  on CHRIST or an Angel or a Saint, your putting the emphasis on the demon, that's disordered, that's like throwing chum in shark infested waters where your swimming. Authentic Catholic

Spiritual Warfare is:

1.  Christ centered

2.  The Healing of the person afflicted

3.  Lastly, on liberation from the demons(s).

To call yourself a 'demonologist' is NOT a New Testament term and it’s not an ecclesiastical term either. It is not good to accentuate the demon as a title used to introduce yourself as a Catholic involved in a ministry or apostolic work. That’s why St Thomas of Aquinas who knew more about demons than anyone of these lay Catholics by far, called himself the Angelic Doctor – not the Demonic Doctor.

This term has NEVER been used in 2000 years of Catholic Tradition to identify a lay person who assists in an exorcism team.
