Where is the word liberal in the bible?

QUESTION? / COMMENT!

This is an odd request, but Mr Romero used a Scripture verse that shows "progressivism" is not from God (on the left not the right), and I cannot recall this verse. I believe it's from one of the letters from St Paul, I think, but I can't remember which one. Could you please remind me?

2 John 9 (NAB) “Anyone who is so ‘progressive’ as not to remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God; whoever remains in the teaching has the Father and the Son.”

The word “liberal” is a synonym for the word "progressive." The word “progressive” is found in the New American Catholic Bible in 2 John 9 and this philosophy is condemned by Almighty God. Hence the word “liberal” and “progressive” are used in Catholic theology and Sacred Scripture. The Catholic Church’s teachings (most especially on morality) are fixed, permanent, flawless and perfect, hence they CANNOT PROGRESS. The Church does believe in progress when it comes to science, e.g. more bytes on your hard drive, more reliable cellphones, faster computers, faster airplanes and better gas mileage on cars etc.

The word “conservative” means “traditional” (dictionary.com). 2 Thessalonians 2:15 (NAB), gives us a great interpretation of Tradition: "Hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours."

1 Corinthians 11:2 (RSV) “I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I have delivered them to you.”

2 Thessalonians 3:6 “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is living in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.”
