WHAT SEPARATES FAMILIES?

QUESTION? / COMMENT!

My father is battling cancer and other medical issues. My mom has asked me at the request of my sister as well from my own mom and dad, who's hosting Thanksgiving dinner to ask me to not talk about God at Thanksgiving dinner. My whole family are Catholics, not practicing, my sister is not married in the church, they believe the main stream media and were all tricked into taking the pokey poke.

I was told by my mom that a few family members were bothered when I expressed to a family member that their medal was not of Catholic origin, this person practices santeria. Then another person along with her mother (with the non Catholic medal) were praying over a person and I explained they do not have authority to pray over someone. Lastly, I was told that I said that if a person, the woman again with the non Catholic medal, said I told her that if she took the pokey poke she would go to hell. That was said to her BUT NOT by me, it was her very own daughter in law.

Just to give context on this matter, I was as so many people were no longer invited to holidays during the plandemic. I did give my opinion that the pokey poke was not what they thought and on other thoughts on the main stream media as well as the plandemic as a whole. I feel this is in retaliation from back then.

I do not want to comprise my faith in this way as to not being able to speak on whatever issue that presents itself. I have never been one to cause a scene, insult anyone or even call out someone who is wrong in a conversation setting with many people. When I have done so, it was in private.

What are your thoughts on this matter?

Matthew 10:32-33 So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven."

John 8:32 - and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Colossians 4:6 - Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.

Matt 10:16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Luke 12:51 Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division; 52 for henceforth in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three; 53 they will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against her mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law."

Matthew 5:10 "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you. 13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men. 14

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 10:32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. 34 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36 and a man's foes will be those of his own household.

What separates families? Faith in Jesus Christ. There are those who believe and are his disciples, then there are other family members who do not believe in Jesus Christ or are lukewarm Christians. The person of JESUS is what divides families.
