What do demons look like?

Spiritual beings have no bodies and therefore cannot technically "look like" anything.  They are invisible, but they can periodically take on or project appearances to be seen or experienced by human beings.  Demons might make themselves known to the person through the faculty of sight or through the other senses of hearing, feeling, smelling and touching.  Demons are generally more "felt" than seen by people, the most common form of demonic manifestation being the sensation of a malevolent presence in the same space as the person sensing them.

Aside from the popular image of the little red horned creature with a tail and a pitchfork, there are standard "forms" that demons have used to reveal themselves to humanity through the centuries.  Popular horror movies, video games or mascots of heavy metal bands often show demonic images: goats with horns centaurs, witches and warlocks, vampires, living skulls/ skeletons, mummies, decayed human bodies that talk, vicious creatures with fangsrap and claws.  The Alien movies featured a vicious rapacious little creature that emerges out of the stomachs of people looking like a fetus transformed into a fang-toothed ravaging demon.  Some believe that this movie represents the eptiome of demonic glarification of abortion.  Be that as it may, the devil's spawn are not hard to recognize.  It's just too bad that most of our faith-deprived society thinks that they are only harmless "entertainment."
