TWO TO GET MARRIED

QUESTION?

1. If married twice (first wife passed away), is the husband responsible for both wives? Does it matter if the first marriage was not a sacramental marriage?

ANSWER!

No, marriage ends at death, plus the first marriage was not a sacramental marriage so in the eyes of God he was not married. I am sure he already confessed that sin of living with a woman and not being married in the Catholic Church.

QUESTION?

2. Is the husband responsible for the entire lives of the wife & children OR is he only responsible from the time he got married to the wife until his or her death and only from the time each child was born until they move out?

ANSWER!

Correct, you are responsible for your wife's soul the moment you got married to her until you or she dies. You are responsible to educate and instruct your children in the faith until they move out. Than you are no longer responsible for them, other than the responsibility to love them, pray for them and give them wise counsel forever.

QUESTION?

3. Does the husband also get "credit" for the good things his wife does, like reading the Bible or attending a daily Mass?

ANSWER!

A wifes holiness affects the husband and the marriage in a good way. Holiness, prayer, become a channel of Gods grace into the marriage.
