I'm not at the level you guys are at on this stuff so please help us push back on this before it spreads and poisons too many people in our Parish ..... we can't afford to lose this battle....
ANSWER!
Here is how I would respond to my fellow Catholic that says we should not vote for Trump. I will cut and paste quotes from my book which I recommend that you order.
If your looking for the perfect candidate don't look on earth - their in heaven, Our Lord and Our Lady, but their not running for office, they are King and Queen forever. On earth, we have to choose amongst sinners. Our Lord said: He who is without sin cast the first stone...
Lets also keep in perspective, we not voting for a Pastor (we already have one - Our Lord Jesus Christ) were voting for a President.

APPENDIX 1
Partial List of Pro-Life Accomplishments in President Trump’s First Term
(Priests for Life keeps updating this list of President Trump’s pro-life accomplishments at ProLifePresident.com)
1. First of all, President Trump did the pro-life movement his greatest service by keeping Hillary Clinton out of the White House. Had she been elected, the extremism of abortion in America would have reached a fever pitch unlike anything we’ve seen before.
2. President Trump fulfilled his campaign pledge to only appoint pro-life justices to the Supreme Court when he appointed Justice Neil Gorsuch and Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Also, he has placed another 191 conservative judges on the circuit and district courts, bringing significant change even to the liberal ninth circuit.
3. President Trump has deprived the abortion industry of billions of dollars. He signed legislation to permit the states to defund Planned Parenthood of Title X family planning. He also issued an executive order to give states the option to withhold Medicaid and other federal money from organizations that perform abortions, including Planned Parenthood.
4. President Trump implemented the Protect Life Rule, a rule by the Department of Health and Human Services to cut taxpayer funding under the Title X program for any facility that performs abortions or refers clients to them, such as Planned Parenthood.
5. President Trump reinstated and expanded the “Mexico City Policy.” His new policy ensures that our tax dollars are protected from funding the abortion industry overseas across ALL global health spending, not just family planning dollars. The Bush-era Mexico City Policy protected roughly $500 million in spending; the new Trump policy protects over $8.8 billion in overseas aide from funding abortion. He also stopped funding the pro-abortion United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
6. The Trump administration Department of Health and Human Services issued a rule requiring that insurers specify to their customers whether the plan they are buying covers abortion. The administration also requested input on how to better enforce the limited abortion provisions contained in Obamacare.
7. The president created a new office in the federal government for Conscience and Religious Freedom so that people who, for example, are being forced to participate in abortion can have their rights vindicated more effectively.
8. President Trump has ended the Obama assault on the religious freedom of those employers who do not want to cover abortion-inducing drugs in the health insurance plans they offer their employees.
9. The president continues to make numerous appointments, across the federal administration, of strong pro-life advocates, starting with Vice-President Mike Pence. Most of the many others he has appointed do not make the headlines, but they are making and implementing policies and practices that advance the pro-life agenda. For instance, in the Department of Health and Human Services, the strategy memo makes it clear that “human beings” include babies in the womb. 10. The president has pushed hard for the Senate to pass additional pro-life legislation, like the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, as well as the full removal of funding from Planned Parenthood. He has promised to sign both bills.

P.15-16 of my book - A CATHOLIC VOTE FOR TRUMP
While President Trump has been very active and solicitous in seeking to protect religious freedom, he is not Catholic. With regards to an issue such as gay marriage, he cannot be said to hold the Catholic view, as he seems not as concerned about the normalization of homosexual relations, but, truth be told, if we are realists, we must acknowledge that that ship has sailed for the foreseeable future. As you will see in the list of accomplishments in the appendix, the author of that list includes the naming of homosexual ambassadors and working to exercise leverage on foreign nations to get them to decriminalize homosexual acts. That acknowledged, it is the Catholic position that any sexual activity outside of marriage between a man and a woman is sinful; it is not the Church’s position that consenting sexual acts, whether heterosexual or homosexual in nature, should be criminalized. But it is true that Trump, at least politically, is not “with” the Church on same-sex marriage and seems to consider it settled law, but he is much better than anyone the Democrats will put forward and just as good as the best Republican in terms of what can actually be accomplished. In fact, he is probably better, for he has demonstrated the courage and political ability to carve out a solid space for religious freedom and to nominate the types of judges who may look at some of the judicial activism by which much past mischief was done with a jaundiced eye. Under the previous administration, one would have to be blind not to have noticed a creeping totalitarianism in opposition to traditional Christian values, so much so that it increasingly seemed we were allowed to let those beliefs and values inform the way in which we live our lives, organize our parochial schools, and conduct our charitable activities only to the extent that they, “the tolerance police,” saw fit. Under Trump, we have a fighting chance to be allowed to raise our children and carry out our charitable works as we see fit. If you don’t believe us, this may be a good time to read or re-read Father Pavone’s outstanding foreword. That tells the tale from a first-person perspective. Even less-active and non-practicing Catholics of our acquaintance seem to acknowledge that the Left continues to push and push the most radical positions; both authors know many Catholic Democrats and Independents who are fans of Donald Trump as a result of the radicalism of the Democrats. Still, we Catholics can appeal to President Trump to respect those traditional societies that have not yet succumbed to the LGBTQ propaganda and pressure campaign for samesex marriage against the will of the people, for remember, that momentous social change was effected judicially not legislatively in most, if not all, places. The LGBTQ pressure movement is as much a part of globalism as anything else. There is a difference between support for decriminalization and pressure to overturn cultural norms of traditional marriage against the will of the people.
As our Lord found in his dealings with some Pharisees, having their objections answered brings no peace to prejudiced minds, because some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.
