SELF DELIVERANCE - LIVING IN A STATE OF GRACE

June 16, 2025

QUESTION? / COMMENT!

I went to my local church but the priest did not think I needed it. Are you familiar with Mexican witchcraft? Some 30 years ago a “friend” took me to a botanica. I was not raised with witchcraft so I had no idea what was going on. The  woman there looked into my eyes. When I asked my friend what she said, she said it was a blessing. Later, I found out it was a Maldivian (curse). I am experiencing a mild form of possession. What can I do? I need help. I have Fr. Rippenger’s Deliversnce book and I say the Rosary every day. What more can I do?

SPIRITUAL WARFARE by Jesse Romero M.A.

Everything I have in yellow is super important for you to follow...If you follow what I have below you will be healed and liberated, if you don't follow it you will continue to be diabolically afflicted for the rest of your life.

If there is one verse in the Holy Bible which lays out the Devil’s strategy on how he tries to make us Secular Humanist Moral Relativist Liberal earth and creature worshipers here it is…

1 John 2:15-17 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh (pleasures - lust) and the lust of the eyes (possessions - greed) and the pride of life (pride), is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” We must evaluate the solicitation and say YES to things that have eternal value and NO to options that have only temporary value and merely carnal pleasure. Spending your eternal treasure for temporary trash is a bad trade off.

What is the “will of God”?

·       1 Tim 2:3-4 (RSV) “This is good, and it is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

·       1 Thess 4:3 (RSV) “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from immorality.”

You need to “be holy” to go to heaven and see God.

·       Hebrews 12:14 (RSV) “Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”

·       Revelation 21:27 (RSV) “But nothing unclean shall enter it, nor any one who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.”

Three Front Warfare: The Devil, the World, the Flesh.

•        The Devil (Pride): John 8:44; 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Matthew 4:1; Revelation 12:10. Preternatural attacks from the devil or his demons is usually mental (cf. Acts 5:3; 2 Corinthians 11:3), although it can be physical (cf. Luke 13:10-11) and is described in Sacred Scripture as being shot with flaming arrows (Ephesians 6:16).  Or annoying accusations to make you weak and fearful (Revelation 12:10-11). Demonic attacks can be internal (obsession) or external (oppression) or the invasion of a house by demons (infestation). The pride of life makes one boastful and self-centered, this disordered passion promotes selfish ambition.

•        The World (Greed): (of unbelievers is controlled by the devil) – Ephesians 2:2; John 12:31; 1 John 5:19. The World in this context refers to a system in rebellion against God by unbelievers. The attacks are external in nature. 1 John 2:15-17 indicates that temptations from the world attack us through the lust of the flesh which is designed to trigger our disordered passions. This causes us to have an insatiable appetite for MORE. This is known as the sin of “avarice” (CCC 1866) or the sin of “coveting” (Exodus 20:17).”Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin’s do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:19-21). Greed is a disordered passion wherein we seek & worship the temporal / transitory & neglect the eternal.

•        The Flesh (Lust) – 1 Thessalonians 3:5; 1 Timothy 5:15; Romans 7:18-19; 1 Corinthians 2:14-15 (unspiritual men); 1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (Men of the Flesh). Spiritual Warfare against the flesh can also trigger physiological responses within our body and mind. The lust of the eye is designed to manipulate our love of beauty to the point of idolatry. The source of this attack is internal, our concupiscence, our wounded nature, our will – which is our lower faculties fights against our reason and intellect which is our higher faculties (cf. Romans 7:15-25; Galatians 5:17). The biblical response to attacks from the flesh are to flee (2 Timothy 2:22), in other words, take custody of your senses and avoid the near occasion of sin.

CCC 397 - for all sin at its roots is an abandonment of our heavenly Father for the pursuit of freedom and pleasure.

CCC 1861 - Mortal sin. . . results in the loss. . . of sanctifying grace. . . if it is not redeemed by repentance and God’s forgiveness it causes exclusion from Christ kingdom and the eternal death of hell.

There are two things we, as Christians, will have to fight until the Lord calls us home; one is Satan and the other is our ‘fomes peccati (tinder to sin) or ‘concupiscence.’ This is described clearly in Romans 7:14-24.

STATE OF GRACE

·       St Therese of Liseux (Doctor of the Church) “a soul in the state of grace has nothing to fear from demons, who are cowards capable of running away from the look of a child (Story of a Soul, chapter 1).

·       Fr Gabriel Amorth – ‘An Exorcist More Stories’, p.94-95, 99: “Just as the demon fights against us daily, so we must battle against him. Through the strength of the Spirit that was given to us, we are certain of the victory. To live in a state of grace means always to say Yes to Christ and No to Satan, according to our baptismal promises: if we do not, we fall into sin…Safeguarding and increasing the state of grace is a victory against ordinary activity of the demon (temptation), and, at the same time, it is the best prevention against his extraordinary activity…Again, we must remember that the best means of prevention is to abide in the grace of God, pray, receive the sacraments, and ask for the intercession of the Virgin Mary, the angels and the saints.”

·       Fr Chad Ripperger F.S.S.P. (Exorcist – Diocese of Tulsa OK) “1st state of protection against demons – live in a state of grace” (Spiritual Warfare Conference Feb 21, 2012; Holy Family Theatre, Hollywood CA).

·       Fr Antonio Fortea (Exorcist – Spain) “the best shield and armor against the attacks of the Evil One is prayer, the sacraments, good works and living a spiritual life” (Interview with An Exorcist p.67). “Certainly, a person who prays and lives in God's grace will be protected by God” (http://www.fortea.us/english/respuestas/maleficio.htm).

·       “A state of grace is the spiritual condition of an individual who has sanctifying grace in his soul; that is, he is free from mortal sin and seriously disordered inclinations to sin. Any ‘state’ can be lost – i.e., a state of mind, a state of euphoria, a state of favor with another person – and the state of grace can be lost simply by the commission of one mortal sin. Venial sin denigrates and weakens the state of grace but does not destroy it in the soul. It cannot be said enough that the state of grace, and the attempt to live an authentic life of faith, are the greatest protections from evil for everyone, even those not of our faith” (Exorcism & the Church Militant; p.46).

Being good is not good enough to get to heaven, we have to be holy. We don’t have a natural end, we have a supernatural end (Fr Corapi – CD2 ‘Holy Triduum’).

*Perform your daily duties according to your state in life.

The PRACTICE of RADICAL CATHOLICISM is required to BREAK DEMONIC CONTAMINATION. To live in a STATE of GRACE will be REQUIRED of YOU for the REST of YOUR LIFE.

I will give you further ‘spiritual direction’ on how to resist the devil and break the witchcraft curse against you. This spiritual training is not for the faint hearted. These 12 bullet points which will teach you How to live in a STATE of GRACE[i] and thus be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

1)     Your Philosophy of Life must be the following: “God put us in the world to know, to love, and to serve him, and so to come to paradise.” (CCC 1721). This is what the Holy Bible means when it says “…take every thought captive to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5) or “But we have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16) or “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2). This means we were made to have a relationship with God.

CCC 299: “…man, himself created in the ‘image of God’ and called to a personal relationship with God…”

CCC 2558: “…requires that the faithful believe in it, and that they celebrate it, and that they live from it in a vital and personal relationship with the living and true God. This relationship is prayer.”[ii]

2)     Form your Moral Conscience so that you know what is “right” and “wrong.” You must at a minimum know the 10 commandments, 7 capital sins and the 7 virtues. To live in a state of grace examine your conscience before you go to bed (cf. Lamentations 3:40; 1 Corinthians 11:28). We need to properly form our moral conscience according to the Word of God (CCC 1776-1802), than you will have ‘moral clarity’ and know right from wrong.

Proverbs 3:5-7 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.”

3)     Go to CONFESSION (at least) once a month, try to go to the same Priest. A Catholic must go to Confession at least once a year (CCC 1457).The effects of Confession are (CCC 1468): spiritual consolation, peace and serenity of conscience which is the opposite of Hell – which is perpetual remorse of conscience. If in mortal sin, go to confession as soon as possible. For a sin to be mortal, 3 conditions must together be met: “Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent” (CCC 1857). The CCC makes a distinction between mortal and venial sins (CCC 1857-1863). Confession is the Sacrament of Humility. The 3 Degrees of Humility are: Meekness – Mortification – Detachment. The custom of monthly confession is a magnificent safeguard for the morals of youth – Venerable Sheen; LIWL p.231.

4)     Go to Holy Mass every SUNDAY, HOLY DAYS of OBLIGATION & DAILY MASS when possible

     (cf. CCC 2180-2181).

“The world could exist more easily without the sun than without the Mass” (St. Padre Pio).

“All the good works in the world are not equal to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass because they are the works of men; but the Mass is the work of God. Martyrdom is nothing in comparison, for it is but the sacrifice of man to God; but the Mass is the sacrifice of God for man” (St. John Marie Vianney 1786-1859).

"The celebration of the Holy Mass is as valuable as the death of Jesus on the Cross" (St. Thomas Aquinas).

"Man should tremble, the world should vibrate, all Heaven should be deeply moved when the Son of God appears on the altar in the hands of the priest" (St. Francis of Assisi).

5)     Visit the Blessed Sacrament (ADORATION) for an hour a week. From the book: DELIVERANCE PRAYERS FOR THE LAITY pray the following prayers everytime you go to the Blessed Sacrament: P.24 'Prayer for Protection against, curses, harm and accidents. P.24 Prayers for Breaking Curses of the Occult. P.25 Breaking Occult ties. P. Prayer to Remove Generational Spirits. P.41 Prayer to Reverse Decision. Believe with all your heart in the True Presence, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist (CCC 1374).

CCC 1413 By the consecration the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ is brought about. Under the consecrated species of bread and wine Christ  himself, living and glorious, is present in a true, real, and substantial manner: his Body and his Blood, with his soul and his divinity.

CCC 1418 Because Christ himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration. "To visit the Blessed Sacrament is . . . a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord.”

6)     Pray the Most HOLY ROSARY daily. See 1 Thessalonians 5:17 it reads “pray constantly.”

“Give me an army saying the rosary and I will conquer the world” – Pope Pius IX.

Fr Patrick Peyton who started a ministry called “The Family Rosary Crusade” wrote in 1947 that “the Family that prays together stays together” as well as “a World at prayer is a World at Peace” and He proclaimed this tirelessly throughout the Media.

7)     Pray the Divine Mercy daily (3:00 PM if possible on your knees with rosary beads). Jesus died at 3pm, this is known as “the hour of Mercy.” Here are a couple of promises made by Jesus to St Faustina:

"Encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given you" (Diary, 1541)."Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death" (Diary, 687). "When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the Merciful Savior" (Diary, 1541). "Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy" (Diary, 687). "I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy" (Diary, 687). "Through the Chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will" (Diary, 1731).

8)     Pray the ANGELUS @ 12 noon DAILY. Pope St Pius V prayed this prayer 3 times a day (along with the rosary). The Pope said the prayers to Our Lady were instrumental in defeating the Muslim invaders at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571.

Short Catechesis on Prayer: St Paul says “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). That admonition clearly indicates that prayer is to be every moment part of our lives. Jesus prayed for us in John chapter 17. In Matthew 6, Jesus gave us a model prayer and in Matthew 26:41 he pleaded with Peter, James and John to pray so that you may not enter into temptation because the flesh is weak. We should be praying at least 3 times a day (cf. Daniel 6:10-11).

9)     Make an EXAMINATION of CONSCIENCE before you go to bed, than pray an ACT of CONTRITION. We must CONFESS our VENIAL SINS daily (CCC 1458). Two goods ways to do so is to say an Act of Contrition each night and or bless yourself with holy water before you go to bed.  These things done with a contrite heart pardon our venial sins.  Make an act of perfect contrition, this will remit sins provided you have the intent to go to sacramental confession at the earliest opportunity and have a firm resolve not to sin with the help of Gods grace – Venerable Sheen, LIWL p.233-234.

10) Read the BIBLE DAILY with the heart of the Church by following the daily MASS readings.

St Jerome: “Ignorance of the Scripture is ignorance of Christ”

St. Teresa of Avila: "All the troubles of the Church, all the evils in the world flow from this source, that men do not by clear and sound knowledge and serious consideration penetrate into the truths of Sacred Scripture."

St. Augustine: "When we pray, we speak to God; when we read Scripture, God speaks to us."

God did not design the bible to be a dark puzzle for bright scholars but to be a bright lamp for travelers through a dark world. When you carry the Bible, Satan gets a headache. When you open it, he collapses. When he sees you reading it, he faints! In order to fight truth decay, we need to read our bible.

Reading the Bible keeps satan away (St John Chrysostom) https://aleteia.org/2018/02/09/this-one-habit-can-keep-satan-away/

11) Read the CATECHISM – 5 chapters a day (takes 5 about minutes). “Carefully study to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 - Douay Rheims).

12) Listen to CATHOLIC radio and or television throughout the day. Feed yourself spiritually. Listen to Catholic Christian music especially in the evening when you’re going to bed. Include Gregorian chant, Sacred music flushes out evil spirits & fills the environment with the presence of God (cf. 1 Sam 16:14-23; Acts 16:25-26) and brings in the sweet aroma of Christ (cf. 2 Corinthians 2:15). Sacred music encourages us to be holy (cf. Ephesians 5:19).

[i] Living in a State of Grace means to “live in friendship with God” and “walk humbly with God.” Here are some examples…

James 2:23 "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness"; and he was called the friend of God.”

James 4:4 “Unfaithful creatures! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

John 15:13-15 “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends…”

Micah 6:8 “He has showed you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God? Read CCC 1023 “Those who die in God's grace and friendship and are perfectly purified live for ever with Christ. They are like God for ever, for they "see him as he is," face to face.

[ii] A relationship with Jesus for a Catholic should comprise:

1.      Read the daily Mass readings from the Bible (10 minutes a day) and ask yourself, “What is God telling me today through these readings?”

2.      Pray 3x a day (cf. Daniel 6:10-11). Prayer is the heart to heart communication with Our Lord Jesus Christ.

3.      Visit the Blessed Sacrament every day and have a heart to heart visit with Jesus. Pray a rosary or the Divine mercy and meditate on the life and saving power of Our Blessed Lord. We want Catholics to become Christ centered and fall in love with JESUS.
