THE SECRET OF LIVING IN A STATE OF GRACE
QUESTION / COMMENT?
I attended a deliverance prayer session with a deacon and his team, and your name came up. They laid their hands on me and prayed for my deliverance. I recently went through a conversion and so a healing service was what I thought I could use. After our prayer session we sat and talked about what each team member experienced. And one member said she felt the Holy Spirit tell her I need an exorcism. She said there was a lot of evil images while she was praying over me. Three years ago I had a life changing experience where I felt something come over me. In my head to be exact. I remember the day it happened. I was in my kitchen doing things and suddenly I felt this cloud cover my thinking, my perception, my thoughts, my brain waves, my memory. All seemed to be functioning at around 20%. I shook my head rapidly and I snapped out of it. But moments later it came back. And it’s been with me every second of every day since then. I tried every western medicine option possible. And then eastern. Doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, intense nutritional diets, medicines, dietary supplements, therapists, and everyone said I check out fine. There’s nothing wrong with me medically. A week ago I went to confession for the first time in a long time, subsequently I was able to receive communion. I’ve started to read the Bible, pray the rosary every day since as well.
Do you or someone you know perform exorcism prayer sessions? If you can offer any help possible I thank you.
ANSWER!
The Catholic Church functions like a Military institution that's why it's called the Church Militant. In the event that you are diabolically afflicted you need to go to your Pastor and he will make a determination if you need to see and exorcist. That's his call, not my call. I have no authority over you but your Pastor does. Demons yield to proper authority.
Also, many people that are diabolically afflicted self deliver by living a radically holy Catholic life - we call that "Living in a state of Grace." God talk to your Priest and have him teach you how to live in a state of grace and become holy and if your diabolically afflicted you will be liberated and healed.
Being in a State of Grace means you’re a friend of God
Living in a State of Grace means to “live in friendship with God” and “walk humbly with God.” Here are some examples…
*James 2:23 “Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness”; and he was called the friend of God.”
*James 4:4 “Unfaithful creatures! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
*John 15:13-15 “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends…”
Saints on Exorcist prescription – live in a State of Grace
“…a soul in the state of grace has nothing to fear from demons, who are cowards capable of running away from the look of a child…” - St Therese of Liseux (Doctor of the Church, from ’The Story of a Soul’ Chapter 1).
“…1st state of protection against demons – live in a state of grace…” - Fr. Chad Ripperger F.S.S.P. - Exorcist).
“Certainly, a person who prays and lives in God’s grace will be protected by God” (Fr Antonio Fortea - Exorcist, Spain).[ii]
The Goal of Prayer – to be possessed by Christ
Father Chad Ripperger (Exorcist), author of Deliverance Prayers: For Use by the Laity, a Catholic priest, from Denver, who founded a community of religious exorcist urges Rosary and daily meditation. “I don’t know of anyone who meditates who has become either possessed or diabolically obsessed,” speaking, of course, of Catholic contemplation - http://spiritdaily.org/blog/news/video-exorcist-on-deliverance.
“The goal of prayer is to be possessed by Christ” - St Mother Teresa of Calcutta - https://aleteia.org/2018/09/05/mother-teresa-prayed-this-inspirational-p...

[iv] "The lives of many saints include examples of this affliction. Among modern saints, I can cite two who have been beatified by Pope John Paul II: Father Giovanni Calabria and Sister Mary of Jesus Crucified (who was the first Arab to be beatified). In both cases, and without any human fault, they were subjected to periods of true satanic possession. During those periods, the two saints did and said things totally incompatible with their holiness without the least fault, because it was the devil who acted through their bodies" (cf. An Exorcist tells His story, p. 57).
