The role of a wife, while the husband's leadership in the home is missing in action

QUESTION?

I was listening to Jesus 911 this morning about enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, but how can I do this if the head of household, my husband, doesn’t believe the way that I do ? I am the one teaching my kids, pray my rosary and go to adoration and I also pray for him . He goes to church on Sundays but out of obligation. Each morning when I get up and at evening I consecrate my life my children, and my home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary. I would like to do the enthronement, can I do it myself ? I also pray the Auxilium Christianorum every night as well as the other prayers in your book "The Devil in the City of Angels." I just hope my prayers are heard from me and my family because I am doing them and not my husband who is the head of our home, who he should be leading us in prayer.

ANSWER!

Yes, the man is the head of the house which is his domestic Church.

Read 1 Peter 3:1-7 and 1 Corinthians 7:12-17. Embrace your cross (cf. Col 1:24), which is that your husband is unconverted which puts his soul in danger. Pray for his conversion (the rosary & the divine mercy), fast, do penance so that one day he can fall in LOVE with JESUS CHRIST and become the St Joseph of your home.

*Genesis 2:18 “Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.“ - Hebrew word for “helper fit” (Hebrew: Ezer Kenegdo) – “Someone who aids, protects, defends you especially in battle.”

The Gospel Mark 9:30-37 talks about having faith like a child. This Gospel tells us that to get to heaven you need to receive, trust and surrender to God. This is why its easier for woman and children to be saved, because a woman’s natural mission is to receive (receptivity), trust & surrender (this is example left by the Blessed Virgin Mary). A husbands job is to lead, protect and provide (this is the example left by St Joseph). This is the perfect couple.

Go to your Church and offer Masses for his conversion.

Characteristics of a godly woman:

Luke 1:31 “You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” (Mary RECEIVES Jesus).

Acts 2:1-13 “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.” (Mary RECEIVES the Holy Spirit)

Luke 1:34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. (Mary TRUSTS God)

Luke 1:38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. (Mary SURRENDERS to God)

1 Timothy 5:14 (RSV) – “so I would have younger widows marry, bear children, rule their households, and give the enemy no occasion to revile us.” Notice the dignity the bible gives to housewives, it says they are to rule their households, they are literally home managers, not household slaves.
