Recipe to combat anxiety & insomnia

QUESTION?

I was reminded by my sister that you are a believer in spiritual warfare. Do you and/or your wife have the gift of healing or do you know of anyone who does? Do you mind sharing with me any prayers to combat anxiety/insomnia or prayers to help affirm your faith? I do pray a daily Rosary and most days a Divine Mercy Chaplet in the afternoon or evening.

ANSWER!

Continue praying the rosary and divine mercy everyday, they are meditative prayers that bring serenity to your mind and peace of soul. In my book "LORD PREPARE MY HANDS FOR BATTLE" https://jesseromero.com/store/lord-prepare-myhands-battle-book start praying this prayer everynight before you go to bed on page 102.

Prayer for Peaceful Rest Dear Lord Jesus, as I rest in the comfort of your love, I ask to experience your gentle embrace as you tenderly wrap your loving arms around me. I trust your compassionate care will bring peace to my mind, serenity to my heart and renewal to my spirit. In your loving embrace, I ask that you grant me a peaceful night’s rest. Please purify my dreams, cleanse my subconscious and wash my thoughts with the purity of your infinite love. Please minister to my heart, mind, body and soul as I rest in your compassionate care tonight. Please send forth your protective angels to stand guard over me as I sleep. May your angelic army destroy all curses, hindrances and demonic influences that have been sent against my ability to experience a peaceful night’s rest. I ask that your heavenly host protect me as I stay awake and watch over me as I sleep, that awake I may keep watch with Christ, and asleep, rest in his peace — Amen

Also on page 39-40 I recommend this from my book:

Listen to Catholic radio and/or television throughout the day. Feed yourself spiritually. Listen to Catholic (Christian) music especially in the evening when preparing for bed. Include especially, Gregorian chant. Praising God and sacred music expels evil spirits and fills the environment with the holy presence of God (cf. 1 Samuel 16:14-23; Acts 16:25- 26). It brings in the sweet aroma of Christ (cf. 2 Proof Copy Do Not Duplicate Lord, Prepare My Hands for Battle 40 Corinthians 2:15) to your home. Sacred music encourages us to be holy (cf. Ephesians 5:19). Music is so powerful that the angels sing to God in Heaven day and night forever and ever (cf. Revelation 4:8- 11; Isaiah 6:1-4). Sacred Scripture tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people – “Yet thou art holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3 R.S.V.). A believer who praises and worships the Lord in song without shame, is the voice of a soul set free from sin. Finally, remember that St Augustine says: "He who sings prays twice."

God Bless!
