QUESTION ABOUT FALSE BELIEF OF REINCARNATION

A research colleague is of a Hindu or eastern Indian culture.  She was discussing reincarnation in an email after the last zoom call.  I do understand that phenomenon of reincarnation is documented, but we Catholics recognize it as being of diabolic origin.  I don’t think people appreciate how demons can impersonate prior lives to deceive witness of it.  I did find this article https://www.coolcatholics.org/catholics-should-not-believe-in-reincarnation-and-heres-why/#google_vignette

I shared it with the email group along with my opinion:  

“The experience of the phenomenon of reincarnation is not of God.  The spiritual dimension contains heavenly and demonic creatures.  Only the demonic meddle in this type of experience some humans encounter. Demons like to lure people in to receiving hidden (occult) knowledge that God never intended for us to have.   Those who seek this occult knowledge put their eternal souls in jeopardy, since the dark spirits who grant such wishes do so at a price. Those who have unwittingly or unwillingly experience a reincarnation memory must recognize this diabolic tactic of spiritual warfare and seek assistance of a priest with the authority to deliver them from this situation.”
