ONLINE DELIVERANCE SESSIONS

It's concerning online deliverance sessions, a Catholic priest/exorcist l don't know leads them.  Are these effective and safe?

It would be like going to a therapist, or a counselor through zoom. Or being a lawyer and arguing your case through zoom. Another way to look at it, is it better to attend Holy Mass and receive the Holy Eucharist personally or watch Holy Mass in your living room? I'm sure online deliverance has some benefit, but this ministry is incarnational, it's much more efficacious to be prayed over in the presence of a Catholic Priest (no comparison). What's missing in online deliverance ministry is the preparation. A prayer team must prepare a person who is diabolically afflicted for the prayer session. They must be have a steady habit of prayer at set times throughout their day, they must be going through instruction and catechesis and be in a state of grace along with striving for a life of virtue.

A second problem with online deliverance is the aftercare and follow up, there is probably very little or none at all because people are prayed for en masse online. Your just a small sheep amidst a herd of wounded sheep. This makes it very impersonal and each person's affliction has a unique set of circumstances that require spiritual aftercare and personal attention.
