QUESTION?

My question for you is, my granddaughter wants to know if it is ok to have her daughter baptized at home.  There is priest who said that he could do it at home, but I have not heard of this before.  The baby is not sick, so I think it is more of a convenience to baptize her at home.  She called me and asked if the baptism would be valid.  I told her that I don’t think so.  What does the church say about this? I look forward to your reply.

ANSWER!

No, you have to baptize inside of a Church. He's a fake priest or a priest who is suspended. Your daughter needs to be part of a parish so that she can have her baby baptized at the Church. Code of Canon Law 857 notes that:  "Apart from a case of necessity, the proper place of baptism is a church or oratory."
