KEEP THE MEMORY OF YOUR FATHER AS A CATHOLIC MAN
QUESTION? / COMMENT!
My dearly departed father was a deeply, devout Catholic and a member of the Elks club. He was born in the 1920s, served in WW2, and must have joined in the 1950s or later. I have a framed photo of him as a higher up with a fancy large necklace of sorts. I don’t want to destroy it. I did say the prayer to break all Masonic curses that Fr. Ripperger wrote since I believe we have Scottish blood and other ancestry that could have lived in an area that had Masonry. I don’t want to destroy the picture of my father. Can you guide me? Thank you!

The Elks club is part of Freemasonry. I'm not going to tell you what to do but there is NO way I would keep a memory (photo) of my father wearing a freemasonic symbol. That is the last memory I would want to keep or remember. I would ask the Lord to just give me the memory of my father as a Catholic man, with Catholic sacramentals, a rosary in his hand, at prayer or receiving holy communion.
