My main issue has been being a good father and husband. Unfortunately it’s taken me 60 years to realize my deficiencies. My wife has been helpful in pointing them out and explaining them to me.
Would you know if there’s any organization like AA, Gamblers Anonymous that have members/mentors that either/or have meetings or you can call when you’re having issues etc? Tough love is ok and probably necessary at this stage. We’re building a house in So Carolina which I will be moving to soon, before my family can join me. It’s a vital time for me to do the right thing and be a strong male figure that can lead my family. If have any ideas or someone to refer me to, I’d be much appreciative.

The best way to become an authentically Catholic man is to hang out with other authentically Catholic men. Join a Catholic Mens Group, Cursillo, ACTS, Knights of Columbus and get involved. Men need:
1) Fraternity
2) Order
3) Ritual (consistancy)
The practice of your Catholic faith will help you 100% in these areas.
