FULLFILLING GOD'S WILL EVEN IF IT HURTS

QUESTION?

Hello Jesse! Greeting from Southern Europe :-)

I am a faithful listener of your show, and thank you very much for such a great show - it is indeed a blessing! I was just listening to one of your shows, an interview with Mr. Kyle Clement, and I have a question you will hopefully be able to answer :-)

In that show, Mr. Kyle Clement says that, unlike Protestants, we the Catholics should not seek to change the circumstances of our life, but to see how a particular situation can help us fulfill God's will. Now, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for three years now, with no success :-( We pray, go to mass and confession regularly, but nothing happens. I am sure you can understand just how heavy this is. So my question is: could this be one of those particular situations, of spiritual warfare? I fail to see how this can be God's will, or make anything meaningful out of this.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts. May God bless you and our Lady always intercede for you!

P.S. The corona virus is active here as well, Italy is very near :-) But, thank God, despite the orders of civil authorities, we still have everyday mass and regular confession and adoration. So be sure I will pray for you on next mass. ¡Viva Cristo Rey!

ANSWER!

Gods will is for you to become holy in your state of life, a Catholic wife - (1 Thess 4:3). It is Gods job to open and close the womb and to bring forth life. Just keep living a holy Catholic life and unite your sufferings everyday with our Lord (cf. Col 1:24). The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord (cf. Job 1:21).
