THE DANGERS OF OPERATING OUTSIDE OF AUTHORITY - "RETALIATION"

I’ve heard Kyle mention that misuse of the deliverance prayers would result in being retaliated against and “getting taken to the woodshed.” What are some examples of this so I may know what to look out for?

When a person operates outside of authority, he/she is open to retaliation by the demon. Often, a subtle self-justification creeps in that tempts a person to exceed his or her authority so as to do some good at home or in the work of ministry. Common forms of retaliation against those who exceed the boundaries of authority include chronic physical ailments, children leaving the Catholic faith or failing to baptize the grandchildren, legal or financial difficulties, etc. An acute form of diabolic retaliation can be found in Acts 19:11-20.
