1) Someone in the LA Archdiocese was about to rent out the Cathedral hall for an abortion  conference. Archbishop Gomez found out and put a stop to it. This is GOOD NEWS,The Archdiocese of Los Angeles official statement: This was not a Cathedral or Archdiocesan event. The Archdiocese became aware of the matter yesterday evening.  The event will not be taking place at the Center on the Cathedral Plaza. This is a huge victory for prolife Catholics, Archbishop Gomez probably received a lot of phone calls from pro-abortion progressive CA politicians but he did made sure that sacred ground would not be profaned by an objectively sinful conference - https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/la-cathedral-hosting-event-f...
