Encounter School of Ministry (ESM) recent opened a campus in our Diocese and I’ve been invited to complete the two year formation and to potentially provide spiritual guidance for their members. I just wonder if ESM is following proper authority structure in their healing ministry? I am looking for additional training in healing and deliverance to better assist souls entrusted to me. And absolutely do not want to be in error or mislead others.

Many well meaning Catholic apostolates blur the lines between power and authority. I would recommend that you read the book 'Dominionn' by Fr Chad Ripperger (chapter 4 - authority) and the book 'Liber Christo Field Manuel for Spiritual Warfare' chapter 4 power & authority.
