CAN I PRAY THE ROARY WHEN I AM IN MORTAL SIN?

QUESTION?

I remember the passage in the Bible, that if we are in mortal sin, God with not hear our prayer, so does this mean I should not pray the rosary while in mortal sin until I can get to confession??
