Blinded by Satan

January 25, 2021

Fr Frank Pavone, you are mixing apples and oranges and blinded by the abortion issue which is valid.  As a Catholic and politically independent,  I emphatically support pro-life, but to categorically demonize President Biden and the whole Democratic Party, you and other clergy are very much a big part of the problem not the solution.  You and others have become enamored with Trump and the power he generates for you. You need to ask yourself the question “What would Jesus Do”?  Clergy like you claim presumptive insight to what is right, directed by Our Lord.  How wrong you are.  You are no more than a political animal enjoying the power it gives you. Keep the abortion issue separate from your political ambitions.  Then you might achieve your goal and have more Catholics on board.

Satan has blinded you (cf. 2 Cor 4:4). Abortion is a 'moral issue' not a political issue. Stops signs, red lights, collection taxes are political issues, killing human beings is a moral issue - 4th commandment - "Thou Shall NOT kill..."

* St. Pope John Paul II (Christifidelis Laici 38) said: "The common outcry, which is justly made on behalf of human rights - for example, the right to health, to home, to work, to family, to culture - is false and illusory if the right to life is not defended with maximum determination.“

* St. John Paul II called governments that legalize abortion are “a tyrant state” (EV, 20). That’s pretty discrediting - Tyrant means a ‘dictator,’ an ‘oppressor,’ a ‘slave driver.’

* US Bishops in Living The Gospel of Life (USCCB 1998) #31. “We call on them to reflect on the grave contradiction of assuming public roles and presenting themselves as credible Catholics when their actions on fundamental issues of human life are not in agreement with Church teaching.”

* US bishops tell Catholic voters abortion is ‘preeminent issue’ in 2020 election election/

*Archbishop Paglia: Catholic Politicians Cannot Protect or Promote Abortion Paglia is an Italian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He is President of the Pontifical Academy for Life and Grand Chancellor of the John Paul II Pontifical Theological Institute for Marriage and Family Sciences

* When asked about the group "Catholics for Biden" and whether a Catholic can vote for someone who is pro-abortion and anti-family, Cardinal Gerhard Muller, the former doctrinal chief at the Vatican, said Catholics must have "the right understanding of life" and human rights and that it is "better to vote for a good Protestant than a bad Catholic"

*Catholic Bishop Thomas Tobin slams democrat presidential candidates all of them are proabortion -

* Bishop Tobin leaves the Democrat party because of its position on 'abortion'

* Catholic Bishop Bishop Rick Stika of the Dioceses of Knoxville Tennessee Slams Joe Biden’s False Catholicism: He Says He’s “Faithful” But Supports Abortion -

*“If a person supports or promotes abortion, it is no different than supporting slavery,” Bishop Rick Stika wrote on Twitter. “It is the ultimate abuse against human dignity and the human rights of the baby. It is the ultimate act of child abuse”

* Cardinal Raymond Burke says democrats are becoming the party of death -

* Catholic Bishop Samuel Aquila: Christian Voters “Cannot Support Candidates Who Will Advance Abortion”

*Cleveland Catholic Bishop Edward Malesic urged Christians to vote to oppose the “intrinsic evil of abortion,” which has claimed 62 million unborn babies’ lives in America -

* Catholic Cardinal Sean O’Malley rebukes Priest for Endorsing Pro-Abortion Joe Biden: He’s Violating Church Teaching -

* KANSAS CITY, Mo. ( - A Missouri bishop is being slammed for helping form Catholic consciences in the realm of civics. In a Sept. 14 pastoral letter, Bp. James Johnston Jr. of Kansas City - St. Joseph told the faithful of his diocese that the right to life is the preeminent issue in the upcoming election and that government has a fundamental duty to protect society's most vulnerable, the preborn -

* Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Bishop Ricken of Green Bay weighs in on the importance of the right to life. “The insanity must stop, every child has a right to live”

* Cardinal Dolan says: “I’m a pastor, not a politician, and “it saddens me, and weakens the democracy millions of Americans cherish, when the party that once embraced Catholics now slams the door on us”

* Catholics can't be passive on the “pre-eminent” human rights issue, the right to life, Bishop Felipe Estevez of St. Augustine has said in a pre-election letter to his diocese's Catholics about the importance of conscientious political participation -

* Archbishop Vigano: What is clear is that Catholics cannot vote for, much less the hierarchy approve, a “Catholic” politician who does not put the integrity of the Church’s doctrine into practice. The self-styled Catholic Joe Biden, who supports partial-birth abortion, i.e. infanticide, and who even before Obama supported gender ideology and celebrated the “marriage” of two men, is not Catholic. Period.

* Bishop Thomas Olmsted – “There are indeed many issues upon which Catholics may legitimately differ such as the best methods to achieve welfare reform or to address illegal immigration…However, there are other issues that are intrinsically evil and can never legitimately be supported. For example, Catholics can never legitimately promote or vote for any law that attacks innocent human life (abortion)” (Catholics in the Public Square - p.16).

You need to repent and believe in the Gospel of LIFE, so that you can one day have ETERNAL LIFE.
