Blessed Franz Jagerstatter (1907-1943). He was urged by his Bishop and his pastor to serve in the Nazi army. He became convinced that it was not God's Will that he serve as a combatant. He asked to serve as a non-combatant and was refused. He was executed for his refusal to serve as a combatant.) The article at this link contains much good information about him:
If anyone says that Catholics cannot in good conscience refuse the Covid vaccines because the Pope and most of the Bishops approve of them, we can give the example of Blessed Franz. The Church Herself has beatified him for RESISTING the advice of his Bishop, his Pastor and most of his Catholic community to disobey an unjust civil law and TO FOLLOW HIS INFORMED CATHOLIC CONSCIENCE.
