ARE CATHOLICISM MOCKED AND ARE CATHOLICS ARE SCANDALIZED?

QUESTION? / COMMENT!

The Catholic Church we attended is starting to look like a Protestant / Pentecost church, and so are a few others in this city. I was born and raised in this city, and living in this city for five years. There have been many things that I’ve seen and experienced to make me think this way. But I’m only gonna talk about two for now, and please correct me if I’m wrong. They have the holy hour every Thursday in the church. I’ve never attended but my wife does attend frequently. She tells me that the priest walks around with the blessed sacrament in the monstrance and people start falling on the floor. To me that sounds like “slain in the spirit”. Something the Pentecosts and Protestants do. ( Benny Hinn & manny others). I strongly disagree with that practice, especially in the Catholic Church. This past Saturday was the Assumption of Mary and it fell on the healing mass that the Church has every month. I saw a few things wrong. The priest started out by saying that the mass is dedicated to the sick. He only mentioned the assumption of Mary once. His homily wasn’t about our blessed Mother. Then after the consecration he asked that if anyone who is sick or in great pain to come to the front. He brought the blessed Sacrament with him and one by one did the sign of the cross with it, touched their head and half of them fell to the ground. (Not all at once).  Then after that he asked them again to come to the front so he can rub oil on their foreheads and hands. Then after almost an hour, then he starts to distribute communion. Is it ok to pause the mass for the sick? Or should that be done after mass is over? Please let me know if these practices are wrong or it’s just me?
