Animal Sterilization....Is it moral?
Question?
I believe sterilizing an animal is cruel? What does the Church teach about this?
Answer?
To sterilize animals in a humane way (anesthesia) is morally licit (okay). We have been given stewardship as human beings by God over animals. If a person decides not to sterilize their animals, that is okay also. But to do so is not prohibited, as long as the methods are humane.
