Daily Reflection — March 2, 2026

We need this discipline -- Whether you use the analogy of changing from vessel to vessel so we do not settle on our lees, or of emptying ourselves in order that we might be filled (for God's grace stops when we are filled), or whether it be discipline so that we do not become bastards, the principle is the same. The cross has to be introduced into our lives. If we take on the discipline ourselves, the daily hour of prayer, the Lord will not have to empty the vessel of its lees or dregs. After we have embraced discipline, then we will be prepared to change others.
