RETRACTION AND APOLOGY FOR STATEMENT MADE ON JULY 25, 2022 ON THE TERRY AND JESSE SHOW

On July 24 my iphone blew up with many people texting me that Fr Richard Heilman had been cancelled. The next morning I looked at the internet to verify this story. I found some articles but I used this one for the radio show -  The Bishop of Madison Donald Hying has taken disciplinary action against Fr Richard Heilman for political statements he has made in his podcast. https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/calling-out-heilman.

The article says that the Bishop was taking disciplinary actions against Fr Heilman for statements he made on social media. I made a huge mistake by saying "he was cancelled." Fr Heilman was not cancelled by his Bishop - "mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa." I misspoke and I am now correcting myself for the record. When you do 10 hours of podcasting a week like I do, putting out at least 20 to 30 thousand words, your susceptible to being imprecise, unclear and even making a mistake. I apologize to Bishop Hying for this statement, I have met him before and I was impressed with him, I believe he is a good holy Bishop. I also apologize to Fr Richard Heilman for misrepresenting his situation on radio. He is a wonderful Priest that I admire deeply. Once again my apologies.
