What about mediums? I love watching "the Long Island Medium" and she always says that souls are at peace or safe with God or that lost/miscarried children are also with him. How does the Church explain mediums?

Answer!

The Bible says have nothing to do with mediums (Deut 18:9-14), they are agents of satan that couch their rhetoric with Christian language to fool Catholics. The Catechism condemns this as the sin of divination (CCC 2115-2117).
