Mary stands for the liberation of equity. She goes beyond equality and stands for equity. Equity handles all the cases that are beyond justice. Men have handled a just world and not handled it too well. There was a statue in Chartres of Our Lady of Equity. On either side of the cathedral of Chartres were great windows, one series of windows donated by the family of Pierre de Durre, and one series donated by Blanche of Castile. They were rival families, and in the center sat the Lady of Equity, reconciling the families. This is liberation.
