Can I as a Roman Catholic baptize my nephew if there is uncertainty if he is going to be brought up in the Roman Catholic Church?
ANSWER! / COMMENT!
No you cannot baptize your nephew. A lay person can ONLY baptize another person in case of emergency, for example if the person is dying and it is impossible to get a Priest to the location. In your case, their is no imminent threat of death.
