1 Kings 15:23 (Douay Rheims bible) "Because it is like the sin of witchcraft to rebel: and like the crime of idolatry, to refuse to obey.”
Exodus 22:18 (RSV) "You shall not permit a sorceress to live."
Leviticus 19:26 (RSV) "You shall not practice augury or witchcraft.”
